Sun World Ha Long water park reopens for summer

Sun World Ha Long Typhoon water park, featuring three zones and 11 games, reopened on 12/4, with tickets priced at 150,000 dong.

The Sun World Ha Long Typhoon water park is located on Ha Long street, Quang Ninh province, approximately a 2-2.5 hour drive from Hanoi. The park operates from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. monday through friday, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on saturday and sunday.

The park, a modern facility, is divided into three distinct zones with 11 water attractions. These attractions cater to a wide range of preferences, from gentle relaxation to extreme thrills. For the best experience, visitors are advised to arrive at 9 a.m. or after 3 p.m., when temperatures are milder, making outdoor activities comfortable for all ages.

The thrill zone features a series of high-challenge games such as: the dragon falls ride, with its winding slides and free-fall sensations; tsunami, where artificial waves test players' balance; and the tropical storm, a spiral slide complex offering 360-degree high-speed movements. Additionally, attractions like whirlwind tornado, pirate island, and giant lightning also draw crowds with their intricate designs, impressive heights, and steep drops.

Beyond the thrill zone, the other two zones are designed for families and young children. The magical archipelago offers child-friendly island models, mini slides, fountains, and themed landscapes. The lazy river provides a relaxing experience where families can float on tubes, drifting gently around the park.

In addition to water attractions, visitors can enjoy various modern dry games within the larger Sun World Ha Long complex and explore the scenic Dragon Park. Tickets are currently priced at 150,000 dong per person for both adults and children, with free entry for children under 1 meter tall.

In the evening, visitors can continue their journey at Bai Chay, specifically the Sun Elite City area, which will feature the Vui-Fest Ha Long market, styled as a trading port. This market, scheduled to open on 25/4, draws inspiration from a prosperous ancient trading port, recreating the bustling commercial spirit of the region while offering a modern entertainment space. Highlights include a 3D mapping light show at the Lighthouse, daily fireworks over the bay, and a range of culinary and entertainment experiences extending late into the night.
