Green SM positioned the lighting vehicles on Rung Sac road, at the intersection with the road to Monkey Island. According to the route, this section is around the 18 km mark of the 42 km distance. Starting at 4:00 AM, the first athletes are expected to pass through this area after one hour. For the 21 km distance, the illuminated section is at the 7 km mark, with athletes expected to pass around 5:20 AM.

The Rung Sac route, a main artery of the race, stretches through an area with a distinctive forest ecosystem, flanked by dense tree canopies. The section illuminated by electric vehicles lacks streetlights, yet runners need stable visibility for safe running. For athletes aiming for performance, light is essential to observe the course, identify rough spots and gravel, and thus feel more secure during the race.
An organizing committee representative stated that with Green SM's support, the race can solve the lighting challenge without investing in a fixed system. The organizing committee previously applied this solution at races like VnExpress Marathon Ho Chi Minh City Midnight and VM Can Tho.
The arrangement of electric lighting vehicles also aligns with the race's "green course" orientation. Instead of using traditional motorized vehicles, the organizing committee prioritizes electric solutions, ensuring both support functions and reduced emissions during operation.
"We chose a flexible solution that suits the terrain and limits impact on the natural environment", said an organizing committee representative.

For other sections, the road ensures adequate lighting for runners. Specifically, the section through Vinhomes Green Paradise is a newly built boulevard using high-brightness white lights. The Duyen Hai road, passing through residential areas, has full streetlights.
The VnExpress Marathon Green Paradise Can Gio takes place on 1/5, attracting 5,000 athletes. The newest race in the system demonstrated its appeal by closing registrations after 10 days.
The race positions Can Gio as the greenest course in the VnExpress Marathon system, with 80% of the experience involving running amidst nature. Starting from the Vinhomes Green Paradise urban area, the race takes runners to explore a coastal route utilized for the first time. Afterward, the route passes through the Duyen Hai and Rung Sac roads.
Coinciding with the 30/4-1/5 holiday, the race is ideal for families to combine sports and eco-tourism experiences. During this event, the 5,000 athletes participating in the race also have the opportunity to enjoy cuisine, attend music festivals, and watch celebratory fireworks right in the event area.
