OSINTWarfare, an X account monitoring open-source intelligence on conflicts, today posted a video recorded by local residents. The footage shows a missile launching high into the sky before turning around, diving straight down, and creating a bright explosion. "This is likely a PAC-2 missile launched from Bahrain's Patriot system," the account stated.
It is unclear what damage occurred on the ground, or whether the missile malfunctioned or plunged in an attempt to intercept a low-flying target.

Another video posted on the same day shows a high-speed missile descending, leading to a large explosion some distance from the person recording.
OSINTdefender, a social media account specializing in open-source data on conflicts, noted that its trajectory resembled a ballistic missile approaching its target. "It appears to be an Iranian short-range ballistic missile striking an area near the U.S. Navy 5th Fleet headquarters in Manama, Bahrain," the account wrote.

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), the agency responsible for U.S. military operations in the Middle East, and the Bahraini Ministry of Defense have not commented on the information.
The Bahraini Ministry of Interior announced on the same day that air raid sirens had been activated, advising residents to remain calm and move to the nearest safe location.
Iran has not released information on the latest attacks. Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on 24/7 that it had attacked fuel depots, large equipment warehouses, and U.S. barracks at Isa Air Base, along with a watchtower of the U.S. Navy 5th Fleet in Bahrain.
Additionally, the IRGC also targeted aircraft hangers, maintenance workshops, and barracks in the Al-Azraq area in Jordan, as well as U.S. equipment warehouses at Udairi Base, barracks at Doha and Arifjan bases, and ammunition depots at Ali Al Salem Base in Kuwait.

The United States has intensified its attacks on Iran over the past two weeks to deter Tehran from continuing to target cargo ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
