Kunming Railway Station in Yunnan province reported that at least 11 people died and two were injured in a train accident on 27/11. The incident occurred when a train collided with a group of workers who were on the tracks.

The accident took place as the train, which was undergoing testing for seismic measurement equipment, struck the group of workers. They had entered a curved section within the station area of Luoyang town.
