On 25/9, a motorcyclist collided with the rear of a car and fell onto Vu Quang street. The incident occurred during rainy weather, making the road surface slippery. The motorcyclist, wearing a raincoat, was traveling behind the car when a momentary distraction caused them to look sideways, leading to the rapid collision. Bystanders quickly offered assistance, and the motorcyclist was able to stand up after the impact.

Driving in adverse weather conditions, such as rain and slippery roads, demands heightened caution from motorcyclists. Reducing speed and maintaining full concentration are crucial. Even a few seconds of inattention can result in an accident, as demonstrated in the video.

Regulatory measures are in place to deter unsafe driving. Decree 168/2024 stipulates that motorcyclists who fail to maintain a safe distance and cause a traffic accident face fines ranging from 10 to 14 trieu dong, in addition to a deduction of 10 points from their driving license.
