Following the 21/9 launch of the new VinFast Evo Grand, Tran Tuan Anh, 34, an office worker in Hanoi, began looking into the Premia and Limited versions to replace his existing gasoline scooter.

According to Tuan Anh, VinFast offers a maximum discount of 3 million VND for its new electric scooter model. This offer is available to owners of gasoline cars, gasoline scooters, or lead-acid battery electric scooters from any manufacturer. The incentive also extends to existing VinFast vehicle owners, under the second phase of the “For a Green Future” initiative.
Consequently, the Evo Grand Premia costs 24,9 million VND and the Limited version costs 26,9 million VND after the discount, VAT included. The electric scooter features a 6-year vehicle warranty and an 8-year battery warranty, both with unlimited mileage. Tuan Anh noted that these policies motivate users to transition to all-electric models.
Both new Evo Grand versions feature a 35-liter trunk, large enough for a helmet, backpack, and daily essentials. A lidded front storage compartment includes USB A and C charging ports and can secure small items. The scooter offers three riding modes: eco, normal, and sport, complemented by hill-start assist.

The Evo Grand is powered by a 2,250 W in-hub motor, offering a top speed of 70 km/h. It meets IP67 dust and water resistance standards and can traverse flooded areas up to 0,5 m deep for 30 minutes, as stated by the company. It comes with a 2,4 kWh battery; users can add an auxiliary battery in the trunk for an extended range of up to 262 km on one full charge. The Evo Grand Limited version includes a smartkey with anti-theft functionality.

Tuan Anh believes this configuration helps the Evo Grand appeal to a broader customer base, from urban commuters (work, school) to frequent travelers like service drivers, as they can all select a suitable battery option.
"Buyers can start with a fixed battery and add a removable one, priced at 5 million VND, if they need extended range", Tuan Anh explained.
