Often dubbed Russia's Rolls-Royce upon its 2019 debut, Aurus' ultra-luxury limousine model even has a version for President Putin. Now, the Senat has a new, updated version with numerous changes, introduced on 4/6 in St. Petersburg.
However, the narrative of it being a purely domestic product is no longer entirely accurate, as the Senat 900 is a localized and redesigned version of the Chinese Hongqi H9 sedan.

The Senat 900 features a front end with a new grille, refined headlights, and a redesigned front bumper. The grille draws inspiration from current Aurus models, giving the front end a distinct look compared to its Chinese prototype.
In contrast, the rear of the vehicle resembles the Hongqi, featuring similar taillights with an extended LED strip. Even the rear bumper, exhaust, and the body of the Senat 900 remain unchanged from the H9.
Measuring 5,140 mm in length, the Senat 900 offers two configurations: a 4-seater VIP version or a traditional 5-seater model. The cabin is also a reflection of the Hongqi H9, with even the logo frame on the steering wheel retaining Hongqi's design.
