This milestone was achieved just days after Nio reached 100 million battery swaps on 6/2. The company has built an extensive energy replenishment network across China, with over 8,600 charging and battery swap stations nationwide, including more than 3,700 dedicated battery swap stations.
Nio has also established over 1,000 battery swap stations along highways, covering nine North-South routes, 11 East-West routes, 16 major urban clusters, and connecting 550 cities across China.

Daily average traffic volume on national highways during the Tet holiday is forecast to reach 55 million vehicles, an increase of 4,5% compared to the same period in 2025. The peak is expected on 22/2, with traffic volume reaching 71 million vehicles - double the normal level.
The report also highlighted that new energy vehicles (NEVs) are expected to account for approximately 22% of total holiday traffic, with an average of 12 million NEVs on the road daily. On peak days, NEV traffic could reach 15,3 million vehicles.
Given these forecasts, Nio's recent battery swap record could soon be broken as travel increases in the coming days, putting the company's advanced energy replenishment network to the ultimate test during China's busiest travel period.
To boost consumption, China allows free use of national highways during several major holidays. The most significant among these are the long Tet holiday, which occurs annually in january or february, and the National Day holiday in october.
