A total of 153 recall campaigns, encompassing both Ford and its subsidiary Lincoln, impacted 12,926,436 vehicles nationwide. In contrast, the combined total of vehicles recalled by the next nine automakers amounted to 12,902,842.

Regarding individual recall campaigns, Ford held the top three spots. Two distinct campaigns, each affecting approximately 1,45 million vehicles, addressed issues related to rearview cameras. The data presented was collected up to 31/12/2025. There is a delay in the release of official figures from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). When Carscoops published its ranking on the same day, data from the final 12 days of 2025 had not yet been released, meaning the total figures could increase once new data is added.
However, it is considered unlikely that any other group or brand will surpass Ford's numbers in the remaining 12 days of data.
