Ford Territory launches top-tier variant, priced at 916 million dong

Territory's new Platinum variant adds technology and safety features, priced at 916 million dong.

On 22/7, Ford Vietnam introduced the new Platinum variant for the Territory, the top-tier version of its urban CUV line. This variant targets customers seeking a spacious vehicle with integrated safety features and an appealing design. Previously, the Territory was available in three variants: Trend, Titanium, and Titanium X. The specific pricing is:

The Territory Platinum's exterior features a full-width LED daytime running light strip and automatic anti-glare headlights. Details like the lower grille and rear bumper are finished in gloss black. A "Platinum" logo appears on the tailgate and hood, complemented by 19-inch wheels.

With overall dimensions of 4,685 mm in length and 1,935 mm in width, the Territory offers a spacious interior for its segment. The vehicle features a panoramic sunroof. The luggage compartment provides flexible capacity from 448 liters to 1,442 liters when the rear seats are folded, integrating a power tailgate and hands-free access.

The grille remains largely unchanged from other variants.

Inside the Platinum variant, occupants find leather seats featuring a perforated design and diamond-pattern stitching. Door sill plates integrate LED lighting that illuminates when the door opens. The vehicle is equipped with dual 12,3-inch screens, supporting wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity and the Ford app.

An air purification system with a PM2.5 filter and ionizer is included. The vehicle also features a 10-speaker entertainment sound system, enhanced with a center speaker and a subwoofer, all powered by an 8-channel, 320W amplifier. A 3D audio algorithm creates a 5.1 surround sound effect. Users can customize the sound projection range and fine-tune the 9-band equalizer. The system automatically adjusts volume based on vehicle speed.

For the Platinum variant, the American automaker adds driver assistance technology with features such as traffic jam assist (TJA) and intelligent adaptive cruise control (ICA).

Like other variants, the Territory Platinum shares the 1.5 EcoBoost engine, delivering 160 horsepower and 248 Nm of peak torque at 1,500-3,500 rpm.
