Honda BR-V sees 35 million dong price reduction in June

Honda's compact MPV offers a 50% registration fee discount, competing with segment rivals like Xpander and Veloz.

In June, as most automotive competitors offer various discounts and promotions, Honda is also participating. The Japanese automaker is stimulating demand across its product range with 50-100% registration fee incentives, akin to direct cash discounts.

Here are the Honda car promotions for June:

Model Promotion Price after promotion
City
G 49,9 449
L 53,9 485
RS 56,9 512
BR-V
G 31,5 598
L 35,3 670
HR-V
G 35 664
L 37,5 713

*Unit: million dong. Registration fees are calculated at a 10% rate, regardless of the province of registration.

Among its offerings, the Honda BR-V features a 50% registration fee incentive for both its G and L variants. Additionally, buyers receive one year of Honda brand insurance. This Indonesian-imported MPV is currently transacting at dealers for 598-670 million dong, reflecting a reduction of approximately 32-35 million dong from the manufacturer's suggested retail price.

In the mainstream gasoline MPV segment, the BR-V is recognized for its reasonable fuel consumption, durability, safety technology, and a more engaging driving experience compared to many rivals, aligning with other Honda vehicles. The Japanese automaker also states that the BR-V performs well with E10 gasoline.

Beyond the BR-V, the B-segment high-riding HR-V also offers similar incentives. Post-promotion prices for the HR-V range from 664-713 million dong.

Leading the discounts is the B-segment sedan, the City. All variants of the Honda City receive a 100% registration fee incentive, equivalent to a price reduction of approximately 50-57 million dong. The City is currently transacting at prices between 449-512 million dong.

Honda is one of the few brands, alongside Suzuki and BMW, that sells both automobiles and motorcycles in Vietnam. While the Japanese company's motorcycle sales saw good growth in early 2026, its automobile sales declined. After four months of 2026, Honda sold 7,433 automobiles, marking a 10% decrease compared to the same period in 2025.
