The Mercedes CLA all-electric car, specifically the standard 200 variant, is set to go on sale in Vietnam. Dealers have announced an estimated price of about 1.699 billion VND.
Expected to arrive in Vietnam in 11/2026, this model's projected price positions it as Mercedes' most accessible all-electric product in the domestic market. Given its price and design, the CLA currently faces no direct competitors in Vietnam.
Developed on the Mercedes-Benz Modular Architecture (MMA) platform, which prioritizes electric and hybrid vehicles, the Mercedes CLA features an exterior design resembling a compact EQS sedan. Its dimensions are 4,723 mm in length, 1,855 mm in width, and 1,468 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,790 mm. Compared to the C-class currently sold in Vietnam, the CLA is similar in size, though its wheelbase is slightly shorter.
Within Mercedes' product positioning, the CLA is a 4-door coupe-style design. The gasoline-powered CLA was previously sold in Vietnam but was discontinued years ago due to low sales.

Exterior design resembles a compact EQS sedan.
Dealers indicate that the model arriving in Vietnam will feature the AMG Line design package. This includes 19-inch five-spoke sport wheels and a faux grille surface adorned with 142 illuminated three-pointed LED stars. The front trunk capacity is 101 liters.
Inside, the vehicle is equipped with a large, edge-to-edge infotainment screen (MBUX Superscreen), running the new-generation MB.OS operating system and integrating the MBUX virtual assistant. In addition to the 10.25-inch screen behind the steering wheel, the car features two 14-inch screens extending from the center of the dashboard to near the A-pillar.
The CLA 200 comes with a 58 kWh battery pack, providing a range of 459-542 km according to WLTP standards. The car supports a maximum fast charging rate of 200 kW.

The Mercedes CLA 200's motor is rear-axle mounted, producing 224 hp and 335 Nm of torque. It features a two-speed transmission. The car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 7.5 seconds.
The CLA 200 is the next all-electric sedan, following the EQS, to be launched by Mercedes in Vietnam. Currently, the Mercedes EQS starts at 4.789 billion VND. The German brand's cheapest electric vehicle is the EQB SUV, priced from 2.309 billion VND.
