The automotive market is experiencing its annual pre-Lunar New Year sales rush, with manufacturers offering various incentives. Following competitors like Toyota, Honda, BYD, and VinFast, Mitsubishi has launched a series of promotions across its vehicle lineup to boost sales.
The Destinator, Mitsubishi's newest model, comes with a 35 million VND promotion for its Premium and Ultimate versions. Dealers are selling the vehicle for 745-820 million VND.

Mitsubishi's best-selling model, the Xpander, receives 100% support for registration fees across all automatic versions, including the Xpander Cross. This benefit is equivalent to 60-70 million VND. Customers may negotiate with dealers to deduct this amount directly from the vehicle's price. Registration fees are a significant part of a car's on-road cost, making this incentive a substantial discount.
The Xforce, a B-segment CUV, also features a 50-100% registration fee promotion, translating to a dealer discount of approximately 34-70 million VND.
Both the Attrage sedan and Triton pickup models offer 100% registration fee support across all versions. This translates to a dealer reduction of 38-49 million VND for the Attrage and 40-56 million VND for the Triton.
Mitsubishi confirms the 100% registration fee promotion is calculated based on the standard 10% rate applicable nationwide. Beyond this, participating dealers may offer additional gifts, such as accessories or fuel vouchers.
For the first 11 months of 2025, Mitsubishi reported sales of 35,147 vehicles, a 6% decrease compared to the same period in 2024. However, with the Destinator's launch in December, Mitsubishi anticipates achieving positive growth by the end of 2025.
