Omoda, Jaecoo vehicles offer promotions up to 90 million dong in august

Omoda C5 and Jaecoo J7 versions have on-road prices tens of millions of dong lower than list prices.

In august, Omoda and Jaecoo are offering discounts through free fuel for two to eight years. This converts to a cash value of approximately 30-90 million dong, depending on the model and version.

Specific promotions for 2026 Omoda and Jaecoo models are detailed below: (unit: million dong)

Omoda C5 discounts, ranging from 49-80 million dong, are among the highest in its segment. Key B-segment CUV competitors like the Toyota Yaris Cross (650-728 million dong) currently offer a 50 million dong discount, and the Mitsubishi Xforce (605-720 million dong) has 60-72 million dong off.

For the C-segment CUV, the Jaecoo J7, discounts range from 30-90 million dong. Its transaction price currently sits between 729-879 million dong.

The J7's significant promotions aim to compete with segment rivals also offering discounts. After promotions, the segment's best-selling model, the Mazda CX-5, starts from 671 million dong, and the Ford Territory from 702 million dong.

Omoda and Jaecoo, both brands under China's Chery Group, do not disclose sales figures. On 14/8, Jaecoo launched its domestically assembled J5 model, priced from 599 million dong. This makes it the first Chinese automaker to build and operate a factory in Vietnam.
