While charging infrastructure, battery technology, and price are common concerns for electric motorbike buyers, experts suggest that a model's popularity also depends on its ability to meet daily usage needs, convenience, and practicality over many years of ownership.

For most users, a suitable vehicle simplifies travel, requiring only minutes to refuel and capable of meeting various needs such as commuting, picking up children, grocery shopping, or unexpected evening trips. This user-centric approach guided Dat Bike's engineering team in developing the new-generation Era, aiming to minimize changes to users' daily routines.
Technology is the primary focus for the company. A company representative stated that Dat Bike has equipped the Era with integrated charging technology, which the company independently researched and developed and has filed a patent application for.

The Dat Bike Era features a built-in charger, allowing users to plug into any standard 220V household outlet at home, the office, parking garages, or cafes. Users do not need to carry extra equipment or search for dedicated charging stations. Its fast-charging capability also alleviates concerns about forgetting to charge.
According to the company, the integrated charging technology allows the Era's battery to fully charge in about 3,5 hours in standard mode. The fast-charging mode on the Era E1 can achieve a full charge in over two hours, while the boost charging mode provides approximately 30 km of range after 15 minutes of charging, ideal for urgent travel needs. With a full charge, the model offers a range of up to 200 km, closely matching the usage habits of traditional gasoline motorbikes.
Developed with Vietnamese user habits in mind, the Dat Bike Era features a generous 50-liter storage capacity, offering ample space for daily items. The vehicle is equipped with a 5 kW side motor, co-developed with F.C.C Japan, capable of ascending apartment building ramps with two riders. Its 750 mm seat height, 112 kg weight, and features like walk assistance and hill-start assist make it more convenient, especially for female riders.
Additionally, the company stated that the Era supports over-the-air (OTA) software updates, allowing Dat Bike to optimize operational performance or add new improvements throughout the product's lifespan.
According to Dat Bike, in the context of the shift towards electrified vehicles, products that create sustainable usage value will play a significant role in accelerating user transition. A Dat Bike representative stated, "The Era is a testament to Dat Bike's philosophy of developing smart and practical products, making the motorbike increasingly suitable for modern life."
