On the late afternoon of 26/5, a traffic accident unfolded on an elevated road in Guizhou. The cabin of a tractor-trailer, after a collision, broke through a guardrail and plummeted onto the national highway below. Remarkably, the driver remained inside.

The following morning, 27/5, witness Ho told reporters from Xiaoxiang Morning Post that at the scene, one small truck carrying wood was stopped near the tractor-trailer. Debris and logs were scattered across the ground, and the tractor-trailer's cabin had indeed fallen from the elevated structure.

Despite the significant fall, the tractor-trailer driver was still in the cabin upon impact. Mr. Ho, observing from the elevated road, witnessed the driver attempting to climb out of the severely deformed cabin before lying down on the road. Traffic police later confirmed that the driver was rescued and is not in life-threatening condition. The driver of the small truck was uninjured.
