V-Green, Global Charging Station Development Joint Stock Company, and the MediaMart electronics supermarket chain have signed a cooperation agreement to jointly deploy and complete 1,000 battery swap stations across MediaMart's 330 supermarket locations nationwide.
Both parties anticipate this infrastructure development will support the rapidly growing number of VinFast electric motorbike users, while enhancing convenience and the overall experience for shoppers at the electronics supermarket chain. V-Green will be responsible for deploying, operating, and managing these 1,000 battery swap stations, with plans to research expansion into additional suitable locations.
Depending on the specific location, V-Green will install three to five battery swap stations at each site, with the entire infrastructure projected for completion by the end of May.

VinFast electric motorbike models achieved record sales in March, with the company reporting over 135,000 orders and shipping approximately 93,000 units that month. This marks the highest sales volume ever recorded within the electric motorbike segment.
The Evo and Feliz were VinFast's top-selling models, with 52,000 and over 24,000 units, respectively, delivered to customers. VinFast's market research further indicates that these two models have been the best-selling in the market since the start of the year, outperforming even traditional gasoline motorbikes.
In terms of trends, VinFast noted a consistent rise in purchasing power across various localities, with Hanoi and TP HCM showing the most significant growth. In March alone, the company delivered over 20,000 electric motorbikes of various types within Hanoi. During this period of high growth, VinFast adjusted its factory capacity to achieve its highest production volume to date, yet the number of vehicles shipped still fell short of market demand.

"With MediaMart's partnership, V-Green will accelerate the deployment and operation of 1,000 battery swap stations in May", she said.
Beyond MediaMart, V-Green has also partnered with other major entities, including The Gioi Di Dong and FPT Shop, to expand its network of electric motorbike battery swap stations and electric oto charging stations across Vietnam. The company plans to complete 60,000 VinFast electric motorbike battery swap stations nationwide by Quarter II.
