VinFast's new generation VF 8 has achieved a remarkable milestone, securing 12,728 non-refundable orders within just eight days of its early deposit promotion. This record-breaking performance, observed from 27/5 to 3/6, marks an unprecedented success for the Vietnamese automaker in the premium vehicle segment. The first batches of these electric SUVs are anticipated to reach customers by the end of July.

Orders for the new generation VF 8 were processed through VinFast's online website and its nationwide distribution network, with demand evenly distributed across all three regions. Customers who placed deposits benefited from a 51 million dong incentive. Additional programs included: a 10% discount on the listed price or a preferential annual interest rate of 5% for the first three years, along with free charging at V-Green stations nationwide until 10/2/2029.

Ms. Duong Thi Thu Trang, Deputy General Director of Global Sales at VinFast, highlighted the significance of these figures, stating, "The 12,728 orders in eight days demonstrate that the upgrades on the new generation VF 8 have met user needs and expectations. The technological breakthroughs researched and developed by VinFast's engineering team promise to deliver an impressive user experience."

The new generation VF 8 represents a strategic pivot for VinFast in the electric vehicle market. It is the first model in the company's lineup to undergo comprehensive upgrades in design, technology, and features. This D-segment SUV incorporates the "Tech Fluid" design philosophy, while its interior prioritizes an ergonomic experience, setting it apart from its predecessor.

Underpinning the new VF 8 is an entirely new technology platform and electrical-electronic architecture, meticulously developed by VinFast's engineers. This innovation has resulted in a substantial weight reduction of 600 kg compared to the previous generation. Further enhancing its performance and efficiency, the vehicle features an FSD adaptive damping suspension system and an ITM integrated thermal management system, designed to optimize energy consumption and extend the lifespan of both the battery and motor.

The VinFast VF 8 new generation boasts a driving range of nearly 500 km on a single full charge (NEDC standard) and supports fast charging, reaching 10% to 70% capacity in approximately 30 minutes. VinFast emphasized that the SUV was developed with the goal of achieving 5-star safety standards from leading global vehicle assessment organizations.

With a listed price of 999 million dong, the new generation VF 8 becomes even more attractive after incentives, bringing the selling price to approximately 849 million dong, including VAT. This makes it one of the most accessible SUVs in its segment, as most competitors are priced from one billion dong upwards.
