Volkswagen Vietnam's Mobile Service strategy

Volkswagen Vietnam launches Mobile Service, a strategy to bring German-standard service quality directly to vehicle owners across Vietnam.

A representative from Volkswagen Vietnam announced that the company is implementing on-site after-sales service through its Mobile Service strategy, offering mobile vehicle care and maintenance in line with global Volkswagen standards.

The introduction of this service comes amidst the German brand's consistent sales growth in Vietnam over recent years. In 2024, the company achieved a 400% sales increase compared to the previous year, and in 2025, it rose to lead sales among German automotive brands in Vietnam. Currently, Volkswagen Vietnam reports cumulative sales of over 10,000 vehicles and operates a network of 20 authorized dealerships nationwide, including world-pioneering models like the first City Store in Southeast Asia and the first Urban Store globally.

With this sales volume, Volkswagen identifies after-sales service as a strategic pillar, crucial for enhancing the ownership experience and increasing customer loyalty. Mobile Service is the latest offering in this strategy, designed to provide maximum convenience for Volkswagen vehicle owners.

The Mobile Service allows the company to extend its service reach to areas without traditional dealerships. Mobile Service vehicles are custom-designed, fully equipped with technical equipment, diagnostic tools, and genuine Volkswagen parts. The technical team providing the service receives training according to Volkswagen's global standards, ensuring that inspection and maintenance procedures adhere to the technical specifications of the parent company in Germany.

The scope of work for Mobile Service includes essential items: routine maintenance, inspections, specialized diagnostic equipment use, warranty parts replacement according to policy, battery jump-starts, wear-and-tear parts replacement, common repairs, and air conditioning system cleaning and deodorizing services.

Bui Quoc Viet, After-Sales Service Director at Volkswagen Vietnam, stated that Mobile Service marks a significant advancement in the after-sales service development strategy, forming an important part of Volkswagen's comprehensive after-sales service ecosystem development in Vietnam.

"Through this mobile service model, we aim to bring Volkswagen's global technical standards and service quality closer to customers, while optimizing convenience in vehicle care and maintenance", he said. "This also underscores Volkswagen Vietnam's commitment to continuously enhancing a convenient, transparent, and reliable vehicle ownership experience".

Volkswagen Vietnam also considers after-sales service as a launchpad for its sustainable development strategy in the next decade. In giai doan 1, Mobile Service will be rolled out through Volkswagen's authorized dealership network in major cities. In the future, the company will continue to expand its service coverage nationwide, standardize its dealership system, elevate after-sales service standards, and diversify its product portfolio.

"Amidst the strong global electrification trend, Volkswagen Vietnam is also progressively preparing for a green mobility future, ready to deliver solutions and products aligned with the Volkswagen Group's electric vehicle direction, contributing to the sustainable development of Vietnam's automotive industry", a company representative said.
