EB5 Capital investors receive capital returns from two US hotel projects

EB5 Capital announces partial capital returns for the Agoura Hills Marriott and Virgin Nashville hotels in the US, enabling eligible investors to begin receiving their funds in line with project progress.

An EB5 Capital representative stated that this transaction provides a partial return to EB-5 partnerships, allowing investors to start receiving capital according to the project's schedule.

At the Agoura Hills Marriott project, the developer extended the senior loan and returned 9 million USD out of a total of 20,5 million USD in EB-5 capital. Although the project-level return is partial, this transaction allows eligible investors to receive their full 500.000 USD contribution. The remaining capital continues to be maintained within the project.

The Agoura Hills Marriott hotel (JF19), completed in 2020, features two brands: Courtyard by Marriott and TownePlace Suites. It offers large meeting spaces and diverse amenities, serving both business and leisure travelers. This marks EB5 Capital's 19th project to qualify for capital returns.

Also completed in 2020, Virgin Nashville (JF23) is a luxury hotel located in the heart of the city's Music Row district in Nashville, Tennessee. The project boasts luxurious accommodations, multiple dining venues, and rooftop amenities. The Virgin hotel project in Nashville (JF23) recently completed refinancing, returning approximately 25 million USD out of a total of 44 million USD in EB-5 capital.

Eligible investors received a partial return allocation following this capital event. The remaining EB-5 capital continues to be deployed in the project, with additional repayment mechanisms expected in the coming years. This transaction marks EB5 Capital's 20th project to qualify for capital returns.

According to an EB5 Capital representative, many Vietnamese EB-5 investors received investment capital returns from both projects. This demonstrates the high level of participation by Vietnamese investors in projects under the EB-5 program.

EB5 Capital was established in 2008 and is headquartered in Washington, D.C. The company currently operates 8 Regional Center licenses issued by US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), deploying projects across the United States. The firm focuses on commercial real estate development projects to provide investment opportunities for foreign investors seeking permanent residency (green card) in the US. EB5 Capital has attracted over 2.600 investors from more than 75 countries.

The EB-5 immigrant investor program is managed by the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The program offers eligible foreign investors the opportunity to become permanent residents by investing 800.000 USD through a regional center into projects located in targeted employment areas (TEA) or rural areas, creating at least 10 full-time jobs for US citizens.
