EVN launches 'customer appreciation month' program

Vietnam Electricity will prioritize inspecting and repairing power systems, guiding safe and stable electricity use for residents in areas affected by storms and floods.

Vietnam Electricity (EVN) is launching its "customer appreciation month 2025" program. The initiative, themed "continuing to join hands in overcoming natural disaster consequences, accompanying customers for safe and stable electricity use", marks the 71st anniversary of the traditional day of Vietnam's Electricity sector (21/12/1954 - 21/12/2025).

This year's "customer appreciation month" will run throughout december and may extend until before the 2026 Lunar New Year, adapting to local conditions. EVN will show appreciation to electricity users through various business and service support programs, as well as social welfare activities.

EVN will prioritize restoring normal power grid operations in areas impacted by storms and floods, ensuring a safe, stable, and long-term electricity supply for customers. Support will include inspecting, reviewing, and repairing post-meter electrical systems, along with guidance on efficient electricity use.

EVN will also introduce, promote, and provide guidance for its "EVN CSKH" application and the EVN-wide shared customer care hotline, following their anticipated launch around 21/12. Promotional campaigns will encourage app installation, customized for each location. Customers can also attend conferences for questions, electricity use advice, and attractive gifts.

Beyond customer service initiatives, EVN units will collaborate with Electricity Corporations to organize social welfare activities, particularly in areas severely affected by natural disasters. The specific execution will align with each unit's capabilities and local conditions, supported by active coordination from trade unions and youth unions.

Key activities include: visiting and assisting families affected by human and property losses, poor households, and elderly individuals without support. The company will also inspect, guide, and help repair or install new household electrical systems to ensure safe electricity use, and donate LED lighting.

An EVN representative noted that the "customer appreciation month" program has been consistently implemented by units across the group for the past 11 years. EVN plans to further enhance the program to better fulfill its mission of "electricity leading the way" and meet society's evolving demands.
