At the Electricity Science and Technology Exhibition – Techshow 2025, EVNSPC's booth featured 10 prominent products. These included a diorama model recreating two key projects: the 110 kV Ha Tien – Phu Quoc submarine cable line and the 220 kV Kien Binh – Phu Quoc power line. According to EVNSPC, these two projects increase the total transmission capacity to the island by 5-6 times, ensuring electricity demand until 2035 and laying the groundwork for Phu Quoc to develop into an important tourism hub and special economic zone.
In construction investment, EVNSPC introduced two advanced technologies: building information modeling (BIM) application in the design, construction, and operation of 110–220 kV projects, and a scan to BIM solution for creating virtual models of entire structures. Other technical solutions included remote-controlled equipment for hotline insulation cleaning without power outages. This system is suitable for 22 kV power grids.

EVNSPC's artificial intelligence (AI) applications also demonstrated its digital transformation direction. Applications introduced included: AI for partial discharge signal analysis, AI for occupational safety monitoring, and AI for transformer fault diagnosis using dissolved gas analysis. According to EVNSPC, the 110 kV substation primary equipment simulation model developed by Southern Electrical Testing Company was highly praised.
Techshow 2025 featured 52 booths showcasing solutions, equipment, and technologies from both domestic and international entities. This year's exhibition space highlighted the strong advancements in Vietnam's electricity sector science and technology, spanning smart grids, supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), distribution management systems (DMS), outage management systems (OMS), AI cameras, internet of things (IoT), transmission and distribution technologies, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), light detection and ranging (Lidar), operation management systems, power plant optimization, industrial cybersecurity, electricity saving solutions, electric vehicle charging, renewable energy, and battery energy storage systems (BESS).

At the conference, EVNSPC presented a study on electricity load forecasting in Southern Vietnam using the Rolling Sarimax model. Bui Quoc Hoan, deputy general director of EVNSPC, stated that electricity load forecasting plays a crucial role in national power system planning and operation. The Rolling Sarimax model employs a rolling window method to enhance forecasting accuracy amid real-world fluctuations.
According to EVNSPC, test results on daily load data from 2021-2024 showed that this model achieved good performance with an average error of 1,79%. This study demonstrated that a linear model with a dynamic update mechanism can achieve higher efficiency compared to complex deep learning architectures.
Additionally, EVNSPC presented papers on: analysis of distributed energy resource integration capacity; application of artificial intelligence and dissolved gas analysis techniques in oil for diagnosing potential transformer faults; and application of multi-layer neural networks in partial discharge signal analysis.
"EVNSPC's products and research underscore its commitment to applying science and technology, demonstrating a determination to innovate and meet increasing demands for load and energy security. This aims to effectively implement solutions that improve service quality and ensure safe, stable electricity supply for socio-economic development in the Southern region and nationwide", a company representative stated.
According to the organizers, the event raised over 124 million VND to support people affected by natural disasters and floods.
