Tasco Auto prioritizes shortening car parts waiting times, especially as its two brands, Geely and Lynk & Co, experience remarkable growth in Vietnam. The two car brands, distributed by Tasco Auto, now boast nearly 100 showrooms nationwide, doubling their presence since July 2025. Furthermore, sales for the first seven months of this year have increased four times compared to the same period last year.
Amidst this rapid expansion, Nguyen Trung Kien, Tasco Auto's aftersales director, stated that the company is adjusting its parts supply operations. The goal is to enhance responsiveness and significantly reduce waiting times within the aftersales segment.

Tasco Auto has established a robust supply system to meet the growing demand. Currently, approximately 90% of fast-moving parts can be fulfilled immediately from the inventory at its central warehouse. This category includes essential items such as maintenance parts, body repair components (windshields, headlights), steering systems (tie rods, shock absorber assemblies), and electrical, air conditioning, and safety systems (airbags, collision sensors).
To ensure high responsiveness, Tasco Auto structured its supply chain around a central warehouse connected to a nationwide dealer network. The company operates a large 2,500 square meter central warehouse in Hanoi and plans to open an additional 1,000 square meter central warehouse in TP HCM by year-end. For readily available parts, domestic shipping to service centers takes one to three days, depending on the region. Beyond physical storage, Tasco Auto continuously monitors demand across its service centers, evaluates part turnover rates, and incorporates customer feedback to refine its inventory, allocation, and supply methods.
Recognizing that no warehouse can stock 100% of all parts, especially those with low usage frequency or unique configurations, Tasco Auto has enhanced its strategy for unavailable components. The company has improved its forecasting accuracy and real-time data tracking to develop appropriate supply plans based on priority levels. This approach has successfully halved the waiting time for customers, which previously could extend up to 30 days. For urgent orders, Tasco Auto utilizes air freight, reducing delivery times to 15-18 days, depending on the specific case.

These improvements stem from a comprehensive review of Tasco Auto's entire supply chain. This involves close coordination with manufacturers in Trung Quoc, streamlining payment processes, managing import and export procedures, and optimizing the reception and distribution of parts to service centers. Instead of optimizing each stage in isolation, the company focused on removing bottlenecks across the entire chain. Tasco Auto and its partner, Geely, are also prioritizing the urgent order process, aiming to further reduce waiting times to 10-15 days.
Customer feedback is a cornerstone of Tasco Auto's operational strategy. The company gathers information through various channels, including service centers, customer service departments, hotlines, and online platforms. Statistics from July indicate that 99% of calls from car owners to 24/7 channels were successfully received, with 95% of requests addressed immediately upon contact. For complex issues, service centers receive direct support from the technical team at the operational office. These experts collaborate with dealers to analyze data, identify root causes, and propose optimal solutions, achieving a success rate of approximately 99% for reported issues. Carpla Service and the VETC 24/7 Roadside Assistance network also serve as crucial resources, integrated to support customers with emerging needs or roadside assistance.

Forecasting parts demand for new brands like Geely and Lynk & Co presents a significant challenge due to the limited historical data available. As sales and car models grow rapidly, Tasco Auto operates its system while continuously accumulating and standardizing data. Part turnover rates, actual demand at over 80 service points, and feedback from technicians and customers form the basis for adjusting supply plans. The challenge extends beyond merely expanding warehouses or increasing import volumes; it encompasses an entire operational chain: demand forecasting, ordering, inventory management, allocation, transportation, and coordination with the parent company. A delay in any link of this chain can prolong customer waiting times.
Looking ahead, Tasco Auto's aftersales division has three primary priorities. First, it aims to increase parts supply readiness to 97%. To achieve this, Tasco Auto is expanding its inventory, focusing on maintenance parts, common repair components, and high-frequency items. Concurrently, the company proactively replenishes stock when inventory levels are low to ensure immediate availability when needed. Second, Tasco Auto seeks to reduce waiting times for unavailable parts to 10-15 days. This involves closer collaboration with manufacturers to shorten order cycles and prioritize vehicles currently in workshops. Finally, Tasco Auto will continue to streamline its processes and implement improvements based on real-world feedback. The company will collect customer opinions from multiple channels and monitor recurring situations to identify underlying causes and implement system-level enhancements.
As the number of vehicles, product portfolios, and customer expectations evolve, the aftersales system must continuously adapt. Tasco Auto's ultimate goal is to reduce waiting times and increase service readiness, thereby providing users with a more convenient and reassuring experience.
