Vietjet offers 0-dong tickets for five routes to Da Lat

Vietjet is offering thousands of 0-dong Eco tickets and a 20% discount on SkyBoss and Deluxe fares for five routes connecting Da Lat with Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Vinh, and Da Nang.

To celebrate Lien Khuong Airport's reopening, Vietjet is running a promotional program until 20/8. Customers can find 0-dong Eco tickets (excluding taxes and fees), along with a 20% discount on SkyBoss and Deluxe fares by entering the code HIVJ20 on the website or Vietjet Air application. This program applies to domestic routes to Da Lat, with travel dates from 7/9 to 31/3, excluding peak holiday periods like Tet.

Lien Khuong Airport resumed operations on 19/8, following a five-month closure for runway repairs, welcoming its first flight from Ho Chi Minh City that morning. Vietjet's first flight to Da Lat under the resumed operations departed from Hanoi. On the occasion of resuming operations on five routes, Vietjet received a Certificate of Commendation from the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee for its excellent coordination in restoring aviation operations at Lien Khuong International Airport.

The resumption of five routes helps restore direct air connectivity between Lam Dong and major domestic economic and tourism centers, serving travel, tourism, and trade needs. In the initial phase, the airport expects to handle 36-40 flights, serving approximately 6,800 passengers daily. For the last four months of the year, passenger traffic is estimated to reach 816,000.

Following repairs, Lien Khuong Airport maintains its 4D classification, operating for both civilian and military use. The runway's load-bearing capacity has been enhanced, addressing previous weight restrictions and accommodating aircraft types such as B757, B737, A300, A321, A320, and ATR72. ACV aims to upgrade Lien Khuong Airport to a 4E classification, capable of serving 5 million passengers annually by 2030.

Da Lat is a popular tourist destination, chosen by many travelers for its mild climate, pine hills, valleys, and opportunities for relaxation and exploration. From Da Lat, passengers can also connect to destinations within Vietjet's flight network across Asia-Pacific and Australia.

On its flights, Vietjet offers a menu featuring Vietnamese dishes such as Pho Thin, banh mi, and iced milk coffee, alongside international cuisine options.
