Nhan Tam Dental Clinic invested in the YakeBot robot system, a dental implant surgery technology with four flexible operating modes. These modes include: automatic entry into and exit from the patient's mouth, performing drilling and implant placement; semi-automatic with doctor intervention; passive with doctor guidance and force application; and a positioning mode as a guiding tool. This "four-in-one" robot system assists doctors in handling diverse clinical cases, from simple to complex. The robot is particularly useful in complex cases requiring high precision when placing implants near important anatomical structures such as nerves, blood vessels, or eye sockets.
A representative from Nhan Tam Dental Clinic stated that the signing ceremony marks a new development for the unit. It also reflects the spirit of Resolution 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation, which emphasizes a people-centric approach and the application of science and technology to improve quality of life.

Before the official transfer, Doctor Vo Van Nhan, founder and professional director of the Nhan Tam Dental ecosystem, spent nearly three years studying, researching, training, and practicing with international experts. According to Doctor Vo Van Nhan, this was a serious preparation step to realize the goal of applying high technology to bring practical value to patients.
He noted that combining the physician's long-standing clinical experience with robot technology support ensures accurate implant placement, enhancing treatment quality. The YakeBot robot offers direct solutions for patients. First, it increases safety and precision by limiting errors due to manual operation, psychological pressure, or fatigue of medical staff during lengthy surgeries.
Second, it reduces invasiveness, pain, and promotes faster recovery. Thanks to precise implant placement, most implant surgeries with the robot may not require gum incisions (a flapless method). As a result, patients experience less pain, less swelling, and recover quickly after surgery.
Third, patients can receive immediate teeth after surgery. With the robot's precise implant placement, in many cases, teeth can be attached immediately after surgery to restore chewing function and aesthetics.
The application of robots in implant placement also helps optimize time. Specifically, the standardized surgical process shortens the patient's chair time and reduces the number of visits.

Associate Professor Le Hoai Quoc, Chairman of the Vietnam Robotics Association, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Automation Association, and Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Automation Association, believes that healthcare demands the highest levels of precision, safety, and reliability. Globally, robots are used in general healthcare, and specifically in dentistry and implantology. With AI support, robots further ensure safety and accuracy in surgery, becoming an effective assistant for doctors. Associate Professor Le Hoai Quoc also shared that in Vietnam, the application of robots in healthcare is not yet widespread, making Nhan Tam Dental Clinic's initiative very important.
Meritorious Teacher, Professor Hoang Tu Hung, former Vice Rector of Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy and former Head of the Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology at Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, remarked that the presence of the YakeBot robot is a significant milestone in dental implant and restoration. This specialty requires doctors to possess high professional qualifications, extensive experience, and precision in every step to achieve optimal treatment outcomes for patients. Robots can assist doctors in performing complex techniques with higher accuracy, while also opening up opportunities for safe and effective treatment for many cases that were previously challenging. Meritorious Teacher, Professor Hoang Tu Hung also emphasized that the robot is merely a supporting tool and cannot replace the role of the doctor.

Experts believe that investing in and mastering technology extends beyond a single enterprise's development. This step contributes to elevating Vietnam's dental implant sector on the international map, demonstrating that the nation's medical team possesses the capability and intelligence to access and operate high technologies, approaching global healthcare standards.
Doctor Vo Van Nhan stated: "For us, technological innovation serves the community. It serves patients with gentleness, safety, effectiveness, and quality; and serves the nation by realizing the Government's aspirations for innovation, creativity, and digital transformation in healthcare, helping to optimize societal resources." He added that combining Vietnamese doctors' clinical experience with the high precision of robot technology not only enhances treatment quality and modernizes equipment but also helps bring the national dental industry closer to advanced countries worldwide.
With the goal of elevating the national dental sector, the Nhan Tam Dental ecosystem also signed a strategic cooperation agreement with YakeBot company for research and professional training on applying robots in dental implant surgery for young doctors.

At the signing ceremony, delegates and medical experts witnessed a demonstration of robot-assisted implant placement on a jaw model. The team included a surgeon, a restorative dentist, and a digital lab technician. The demonstration showed high implant accuracy, with a deviation from the pre-designed implant position of 0,4 mm at the implant neck, 0,5 mm at the implant apex, and an angular deviation of 0,2 degrees. The demonstration proved the feasibility and quality of the integrated workflow between doctors and robots in implant surgery. It also showcased automatic tooth fabrication with CAD/CAM technology, designing and manufacturing ceramic teeth using digital applications, allowing for immediate tooth attachment within one hour. Additionally, an in-depth seminar on the role and significance of robot implant placement technology and automation trends in dentistry opened up new expectations for patients in Vietnam.
