Eximbank announced on 25/5 that it had received resignation letters from three senior leaders: Dao Hong Chau, Nguyen Ho Hoang Vu, and Nguyen Huong Minh.
Dao Hong Chau requested to step down as deputy general director. Nguyen Ho Hoang Vu also resigned from his roles as deputy general director and chief financial officer, effective 1/6 or as decided by Eximbank's Board of Directors. Nguyen Huong Minh requested to leave his deputy general director position effective 15/7.
In their resignation letters, the three leaders cited personal reasons and committed to a full handover to ensure uninterrupted bank operations.
The three deputy general directors are all long-serving executives at Eximbank. Dao Hong Chau and Nguyen Ho Hoang Vu have nearly 30 years of service at the bank, while Nguyen Huong Minh has held the deputy general director position since 2018.
Eximbank stated that these changes come as the bank has recently reviewed its operating model, strategy, and development orientation for the 2026-2030 period. According to Eximbank, the organizational restructuring aims to build a leaner, more flexible operating model and enhance coordination efficiency across the entire system.
The bank also indicated that it is reviewing and reorganizing several management positions to align with its future development orientation.
