Two key Ca Mau Fertilizer products achieve national brand status

Petrovietnam Ca Mau Fertilizer Joint Stock Company (PVCFC) saw its two main products, Ca Mau Urea and Ca Mau NPK, honored at the Vietnam National Brand 2026 Announcement Ceremony.

The 10th Vietnam National Brand product announcement ceremony took place in Hanoi on the evening of 16/10. This year's program selected products based on three core criteria: quality, innovation, and pioneering capability. Petrovietnam Ca Mau Fertilizer Joint Stock Company (Ca Mau Fertilizer) had two key products included in the list of 499 outstanding products from 227 businesses nationwide.

Ca Mau Urea maintained its achievement of receiving this title for seven consecutive terms, since its first participation in 2014. A company representative stated that this is the first and only prilled urea product domestically produced in Vietnam. Due to its superior granule quality, ability to limit nutrient loss, ease of use, and blendability, Ca Mau Urea quickly became a familiar choice for farmers in many cultivation regions. The company not only meets domestic demand but also exports this product to markets with strict agricultural standards, such as the US, Australia, New Zealand, Korea, and Cambodia.

Alongside Ca Mau Urea, Ca Mau NPK also appeared on the National Brand list for the first time. This award marks a significant step for PVCFC in its strategy to diversify its agricultural product chain. Currently, Ca Mau Fertilizer produces its NPK fertilizer line at a factory with a designed capacity of 300,000 tons per year. The engineering team applies liquefied urea technology to create a "one-granule, one-color" NPK product, ensuring uniform distribution of nutritional components. Combining Polyphosphate technology with over 100 specialized formulas, the product flexibly meets the growth needs of various crops, helping farmers optimize usage efficiency.

Building on its initial strength in nitrogen fertilizer, the company is gradually developing a comprehensive nutritional ecosystem for plants, including NPK, functional fertilizers, organic fertilizers, and microbial fertilizers. In addition to maintaining its domestic market share, Ca Mau Fertilizer has expanded its international business, with products now present in over 20 countries. To enhance competitiveness, a PVCFC representative announced that the company prioritizes budget allocation for digital transformation, integrating AI, Big Data, and IoT into its management, production processes, and factory operations.

Mr. Van Tien Thanh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PVCFC, noted that the National Brand title not only recognizes product awareness but also reflects the unit's consistent development journey. The company's leadership identifies science and technology and innovation as foundational to competitiveness. Therefore, all of PVCFC's research originates from practical needs, aiming to create farming solutions that bring sustainable economic value to farmers.

To materialize this direction, the company actively invests in research activities, gradually mastering technology, and strengthening the links between scientists, businesses, and farmers. "The simultaneous achievement of national recognition by two key products this year motivates Ca Mau Fertilizer to continue expanding its market, enhancing brand value, and accompanying Vietnam's sustainable agricultural development strategy," Mr. Van Tien Thanh affirmed.
