VIB marks its 30th anniversary on 18/9, reflecting on its journey since 1996. This milestone offers a moment to reflect on past changes and opens a new phase in customer service. VIB consistently invests in technology, expands its digital financial ecosystem, and enhances customer touchpoints, making transactions more convenient and adding value to services.
To mark this milestone, VIB introduced "Journey for Progress" on its MyVIB digital banking platform. The program links daily financial decisions and transactions with a mechanism for accumulating points, redeeming puzzle pieces, and receiving rewards. It runs until 15/10. Thirty customers who complete the collection according to the rules will receive support from VIB for their personal plans, with prizes ranging from 30 million VND to 1 billion VND.
The participation mechanism draws from familiar financial activities. Users accumulate points from eligible transactions and convert them into nine puzzle pieces, each bearing a symbol from A to I. A complete set forms the "Journey for Progress" picture, which identifies the 30 customers eligible for major prizes.

The 30 individuals who complete the "Journey for Progress" picture earliest will be ranked by VIB based on their number of pieces. The prize structure includes one special prize worth 1 billion VND, nine second prizes worth 100 million VND each, and 20 third prizes, each worth 30 million VND.
Participants can also use puzzle pieces to redeem gifts throughout the program. The gift store opens from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. every tuesday and is divided into three tiers: Starter, Thriver, and Achiever. Rewards include Apple Watch, AirPods, shopping vouchers, along with technology and entertainment products, and other offers updated periodically.
VIB also organizes leaderboards on 11/9, 18/9, and 25/9, providing additional reward milestones for customers. In each round, the person with the most newly generated puzzle pieces will receive an iPhone 17 Pro Max. The next 10 positions will receive an iPad mini Pro A17 on 11/9, AirPods Max 2 on 18/9, and a Dyson Digital Slim Submarine vacuum cleaner on 25/9.
By combining major prizes, weekly gift redemptions, and periodic leaderboards, the program offers multiple ways to participate rather than concentrating all rewards in a single final round. Users can accumulate to complete the picture, redeem gifts regularly, or compete for rankings in each phase. VIB has allocated over 30,000 rewards throughout the program.
This approach highlights VIB's focus on developing digital experiences in recent years. The bank not only brings financial needs to digital platforms but also seeks to increase interaction in familiar activities. Each eligible financial decision and transaction thus meets a need while also generating additional reward points or puzzle pieces for users to continue participating in the program.
