Among the international candidates was Thanyaporn Sanggawe from Thailand. Currently a safety specialist at an engineering firm in Bangkok, she has a stable job and income but has long aspired to be a flight attendant.
Thanyaporn considered postponing this ambition to continue her current work. However, learning of Vietjet's flight attendant recruitment day in TP HCM, she decided to fly from Bangkok to Vietnam to apply.
"I once thought I would put my flying dream aside for a safer path, but I knew I would regret it if I didn't try", Thanyaporn shared. "I want to start living for myself."
This marked her first application for a flight attendant position. Leveraging her English proficiency and current work experience, Thanyaporn expressed her desire to compete with hundreds of other candidates for an opportunity in a new field.
"I hope luck will favor me, allowing me to begin a new life in Vietnam with my dream job at Vietjet", she said.

Another candidate, Vo Minh Phuc, born in 2003, recently graduated from university. Recognizing his major did not align with his personal goals, Phuc decided to pursue a flight attendant career.
His decision is also tied to his older sister's story; she once aspired to the profession but had to abandon it due to not meeting height requirements. Consequently, Phuc received his sister's full support when applying for Vietjet's recruitment day.
According to Phuc, the flight attendant profession demands foreign language proficiency, communication skills, physical fitness, and adaptability. These are the competencies he aims to develop by entering this new field.
"Entering this event, I am not only competing for myself. I feel I am also fulfilling my sister's dream", Phuc shared.
