VT healthcare and B. Braun partner to advance smart infusion therapy

VT healthcare and B. Braun signed a partnership on 26/5 to deliver smart, data-connected infusion solutions, enhancing patient safety and operational efficiency in hospitals.

This agreement expands the collaboration between VT healthcare and B. Braun from surgical solutions to general medical solutions. The focus is on smart, connected infusion pump systems and their management ecosystem. This initiative aligns with VT healthcare's long-term goal of providing high-quality medical solutions while advancing digitalization, automation, and standardization of treatment processes in domestic healthcare facilities.

According to VT healthcare, as healthcare systems increasingly prioritize patient safety and management efficiency, modern infusion solutions extend beyond individual devices. B. Braun's Space OnlineSuite platform serves as a comprehensive intravenous therapy management system for hospitals. This system supports drug library management, centralized alerts, quality management, and integrates directly with existing healthcare facility IT infrastructure.

Mr. Bui Anh Tu, a VT healthcare representative, noted that expanding access to healthcare services for the public is a legitimate need. However, many facilities still opt for infusion pumps and syringe pumps with only basic functions. A device directly linked to patient safety warrants equivalent investment in smart technology and professional support services.

The VT healthcare representative affirmed that hospitals need smart infusion systems with drug libraries and patient protection features. "That is why we chose B. Braun's infusion and syringe pump solutions as our strategic products. VT healthcare aims for more hospitals to fully leverage the effectiveness of smart infusion systems," Mr. Bui Anh Tu shared.

Mr. Hoang Van, Sales and Marketing Director of B. Braun Vietnam, praised VT healthcare's market implementation capabilities and understanding of hospital needs. He emphasized that the partnership with VT healthcare is part of B. Braun's sustainable development strategy in Vietnam. The two parties aim to deliver infusion solutions to hospitals as a connected system, supporting medical teams in managing safer, more efficient, and consistent treatments.

Under the agreement, VT healthcare becomes the official distributor of B. Braun's infusion solutions in Vietnam. The company will also handle system implementation, training, and clinical application development. VT healthcare will provide technical support, system maintenance, and work alongside medical teams in practical application, helping hospitals maximize the technology's potential.

B. Braun is a global medical technology company with over 180 years of experience. In infusion therapy, the brand positions its solutions by combining high-quality products with smart technology, simplifying complex therapies and making them safer.

VT healthcare has over 30 years of experience distributing medical equipment, consumables, and pharmaceuticals, currently partnering with over 1,700 hospitals and clinics nationwide.
