At several Vietlott sales points, customer traffic for Lotto 5/35 is evenly distributed throughout the day. In the morning, many take advantage of the time to buy tickets before work. At noon, some customers visit to check results and purchase tickets for the next draw. By evening, the number of buyers continues to rise ahead of the 9 PM draw.

Van Thanh, owner of a Vietlott sales point in Hanoi, notes that many customers simply ask for "two Lotto 5/35 tickets today" and habitually buy them early in the day for both the midday and evening draws. Additionally, some busy customers miss the midday draw and return to the sales point in the evening after work to buy tickets for the 9 PM draw.

According to Thanh, having two draws daily allows players to participate within the same day. The short waiting period for results is a key reason many customers maintain their daily ticket purchases.

"They do not have to wait too long to know the draw results. Many customers say they find out the results just a few hours after buying tickets, which makes them very excited. Since Lotto 5/35 has two draws daily, many people now maintain the habit of buying two tickets for the two draws each day," the Vietlott sales agent shared.

Beyond the twice-daily draw frequency, sales agents receive positive feedback regarding the prize structure. Lotto 5/35 features a jackpot starting at 6 billion VND, which accumulates across draws. If the jackpot value exceeds 12 billion VND and remains unwon by the 9 PM draw the following day, the entire prize value is distributed among the remaining prize tiers, excluding the consolation prize.

Specifically, the first prize receives one-third of the jackpot value, while other prize tiers receive one-sixth. If a prize tier has no winners, the prize value is further distributed to lower tiers.

According to some sales agents in TP HCM, customer numbers typically increase on days when prize sharing is anticipated. Tam, owner of a sales point in Thu Duc, recounted, "On days with prize sharing, customers flock in. Regular customers buy more than usual."

"Many experienced players also use system bets to increase their chances of winning. Even a fifth prize qualifies for a share of the jackpot," she stated.

However, Tam noted that most regular customers continue their daily ticket purchases rather than waiting only for prize sharing draws. "Normally, they already buy for two draws daily; on prize sharing days, they just buy a little more to increase their chances, but they do not abandon their daily habit," the sales agent in Thu Duc shared.

Many other sales points also report that the two daily draws offer players greater flexibility in choosing when to buy tickets, while the prize sharing mechanism provides additional motivation for some players when the jackpot reaches the distribution threshold.
