Ho Chi Minh City technology festival 2026 to take place soon

The Conviction 2026 festival is expected to gather hundreds of experts to share applications of blockchain, digital assets, and AI at Thisky Hall convention center, TP HCM, on August 14-15.

According to organizers, Conviction AI Day, a key program within the event framework, aims to connect regulatory bodies, businesses, experts, startups, and international technology corporations. This initiative will contribute to promoting Vietnam's digital economy and innovation ecosystem.

"With the message 'Real world, real movement'," a representative stated, "the program creates a platform to foster dialogue between the public and private sectors. It supports policy development, technological advancement, and expands cooperation in digital assets and AI."

On the event's second day, AVIS, a strategic partner of Conviction, will demonstrate the Seedance 2.5 video production workflow and introduce the Gateway ecosystem. This integrated AI solution optimizes workflows for individuals, video editors, startups, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). AVIS currently provides AI video generation solutions in Vietnam.

According to the "Future of Jobs 2025" report from the World Economic Forum, technological impacts will change about 39% of core global workforce skills by 2030, with AI and data processing being the most influential factors.

From a business perspective, AI is gradually shifting from a supportive role to an "assistant" through various AI agent and decentralized AI solutions. Microsoft's "Work Trend Index 2025" report indicates that 82% of business leaders plan to implement AI agents within the next 12-18 months to expand operational capabilities and enhance work efficiency.

Beyond expert discussions involving specialists, businesses, and policymakers, the program will also feature workshops, competitions, and technology experience zones. These areas will showcase AI solutions and digital infrastructure currently implemented in practice.

Individuals can learn how AI agents are built and operated in businesses. They can also explore applications in customer care, content production, operational optimization, and financial infrastructure connectivity.

Through specialized activities and experiences, Conviction AI Day aims to bring new technologies like AI agents and digital financial solutions closer to the business community, developers, and workers. This will promote AI adoption in production, business, and digital transformation processes in Vietnam.

Conviction 2026 is chaired by the Department of Culture and Sports Ho Chi Minh City, in coordination with the Department of Science and Technology Ho Chi Minh City, under the direction of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee. The festival is also chaired by the Ho Chi Minh City Blockchain Association (HBA) and the Ho Chi Minh City Electronics and Communications Association (EIC).
