The Hanoi Department of Education and Training announced 10th grade exam scores and cut-off points for 126 public high schools on 19/6. Out of approximately 124,000 students who took the exam, 82,600 passed, accounting for about 66%.

Admitted candidates can complete enrollment procedures either online or in-person from 13h30 on 25/6 until 27/6. Phan Huy Chu - Dong Da High School is an exception, only accepting in-person enrollment.

Required documents for public 10th grade enrollment in Hanoi include:

- 10th grade exam results slip (students will receive this slip on 23-24/6 at their junior high school).

- Birth certificate (a copy accompanied by the original for verification).

- Citizen ID card or other legal proof of residency in Hanoi for the candidate or their guardian.

- Valid certificates for priority consideration (issued by competent authorities), and any documents permitting accelerated learning, early, or delayed enrollment compared to general regulations (if applicable).

- For candidates who graduated junior high last year, a diploma (original or copy) issued by their junior high school is required, along with a confirmation from their residential commune or ward stating they are "not currently serving a prison sentence, undergoing non-custodial re-education, or in violation of the law".

For online enrollment, students must log in to the city's grade-level admission system using their account and password, then select their admitted school and confirm. Afterwards, they should print or save the enrollment confirmation slip.

If admitted to multiple programs (specialized schools, non-specialized schools, French bilingual programs, or French enhancement programs), students have the option to change their enrollment preference while the system is open.

For in-person enrollment, students submit a copy of their 10th grade exam results slip to the admitted school. Once the school updates the enrollment information, students will receive an admission confirmation letter, and their account on the admission system will automatically be locked.

Should a candidate wish to change their enrollment preference, they must contact the school to cancel their previous admission.

During the enrollment period, candidates have the right to withdraw their submitted application. The Department requires schools to facilitate this process, removing names from the admitted list and canceling enrollment confirmations within the industry's database system.

After the initial enrollment period, schools with remaining vacancies will be allowed to recruit additional students on 3/7. Candidates admitted during this supplementary round will complete their enrollment from 4-6/7.
