The Hanoi Department of Education and Training announced the 10th grade admission scores for 122 public non-specialized high schools on the evening of 19/6. The schools with the highest admission scores in the city are mostly familiar names that have led for many years.
Yen Hoa High School, Kim Lien High School, and Le Quy Don - Ha Dong High School led with 26 out of 30 points. This score is the total for three subjects: Math, Literature, and Foreign Language. Thus, candidates needed to achieve an average of nearly 8,7 points per subject to be admitted.
Last year, Kim Lien High School and Le Quy Don - Ha Dong High School also led, but their admission scores were 0,5 points lower. Yen Hoa High School ranked 5th with 25 points.
The group of schools with the second highest admission scores this year included Phan Dinh Phung High School, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai High School, and Viet Duc High School, all with 25,75 points. These scores represent an increase of 0,5 to 1 point compared to the previous year.
