This release follows the completion of multiple-choice exam paper scanning by 34 provinces and cities, with the data uploaded to the central grading system to ensure fairness.
Localities are set to complete grading by the end of June, with results scheduled for release on the morning of 1/7. Multiple-choice subjects are graded automatically using specialized software provided by the Ministry. The Literature subject, presented in an essay format, undergoes two independent rounds of grading.
On 12/6, Deputy Minister Pham Ngoc Thuong emphasized the open-ended nature of the Literature exam questions, stating that "answers must naturally be open". He instructed examiners to respect candidates' opinions and viewpoints, provided they can defend their arguments, even if they challenge the question's content.
This year marks the first time Literature essays are being graded using a rubric method. This approach involves a detailed description of evaluation criteria and their corresponding achievement levels, aiming to ensure fairness and reduce subjectivity in scoring.
After receiving their 2026 high school graduation exam scores, candidates have five days, from 1/7 to 5/7, to request a review if needed.
The answers for the eleven 2026 high school graduation exam subjects, which include Foreign languages (seven languages) and Technology (Agriculture and Industry), are available as follows:
