At the AI Impact Summit in New Delhi, India, in February, Ranvir Sachdeva presented on the connection between ancient philosophy and modern technology. He also offered insights into how nations develop AI.
Ranvir's talent emerged early. At three years old, he could mentally calculate squares and cubes and began learning to code.
At four years old, Ranvir's summer project on a Mars mission was featured on NASA's website (National Aeronautics and Space Administration). A year later, he demonstrated his programming skills directly to Tim Cook, Apple CEO, at the Apple Store opening event in New Delhi. Subsequently, he became an Apple Swift programmer—a programming language for developing applications within the Apple ecosystem—and participated in a company event in California, United States.
Ranvir completed his Google AI certificate and built his own AI chatbot at six years old, also publishing the book "Are You Born With AI?". The work explores the technological world through the journey of a boy named Ronnie and his AI robot, RanBot, explaining basic AI concepts in an easy-to-understand way for children.
In 9/2024, he became the youngest person invited to attend the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly and was honored for his contributions to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Ranvir is also the youngest TEDx speaker in technology and innovation, recognized in the Asia Book of Records.
Mid-last year, he was invited by India's Ministry of Education to speak on innovation in AI and digital technology, and delivered a keynote speech at the Global AI Conference 2025 in Geneva, Switzerland.
According to the CEM test (from the UK's assessment and quality assurance organization), Ranvir's results at six years old were equivalent to those of a 14-year-old student. He is currently pursuing a machine learning course at Harvard University.
