Teacher Pham Ngoc Mai, the homeroom teacher and mathematics instructor for the class, announced on 20/6 that all 34 students in his class were admitted to specialized math and informatics programs under the Hanoi Department of Education and Training. Prior to this, 20 students had gained admission to the High School for Gifted Students, University of Natural Sciences, and 26 students were admitted to specialized programs at Hanoi National University of Education.

Notably, Do Luu Danh achieved the second-highest score for the specialized math program at Hanoi National University of Education. Tran Duy An secured admission to specialized math and English programs at five different schools.

"I am very delighted", said teacher Mai.

Teacher Mai breathed a sigh of relief. When Hanoi National University of Education announced its exam results at noon on 19/6, five students in his class had not yet secured admission to any specialized program. Ultimately, four of these five students were admitted to Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, while the remaining student entered the specialized program at Chu Van An High School.

Class 9C1 at Archimedes Academy Secondary School, which focuses on specialized math and informatics, has been renowned for many years for its 100% admission rate to specialized schools. This is the third C1 cohort under teacher Mai's guidance and also the largest class size to date.

To achieve this outcome, teacher Mai observed his students diligently reviewing and preparing until the final days before the exam. Meanwhile, the teachers responsible for the class closely monitored each student.

Hanoi's 10th grade public school entrance exam took place on 30-31/5, with approximately 124,000 candidates participating. The Hanoi Department of Education and Training announced the exam scores and benchmark scores on the evening of 19/6. According to statistics released two days later, only the aforementioned Class 9C1 achieved a 100% admission rate to specialized math and informatics programs.
