CMC university partners with Capital Normal University of China

CMC University and Capital Normal University (China) collaborate to launch an international 2+2 joint training program in Chinese language.

CMC University has partnered with Capital Normal University (CNU) of China to introduce an international 2+2 joint training program in Chinese language. This initiative offers students significant opportunities, including access to Chinese government scholarships, optimizing study costs, and enriching their international learning experience.

The 2+2 program is structured to provide students with a comprehensive educational journey. For the first two years, students will study in Vietnam, focusing on building foundational language proficiency and essential soft skills. Following this, they will transfer to China for the subsequent two years, where the curriculum is delivered entirely in Chinese. Upon successful completion, graduates will be awarded dual bachelor's degrees from both CMC University and Capital Normal University. These degrees are recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam and numerous countries worldwide.

At the signing ceremony, Associate Professor Doctor Nguyen Thanh Tung, Rector of CMC University, highlighted the program's significance. He affirmed that this collaboration not only expands international study opportunities for students but also establishes a broad pathway for career development, particularly in fields with strong Chinese ties. "This is a crucial step in our education internationalization strategy, helping CMC students confidently integrate into the future", he added.

A key feature of the program is the scholarship mechanism provided by the Chinese government, specifically for students in their final academic year at Capital Normal University. Students who meet the requirements after completing their third year of study will be considered for a scholarship valued at 23,600 Chinese yuan (approximately 90 million VND). This scholarship covers 100% of the fourth-year tuition fees.

The scholarship offers clear and accessible conditions, making it widely available to all students who maintain their academic progress and results. This provision significantly reduces study abroad costs, enabling students to access an international educational environment more affordably while securing a bachelor's degree from Capital Normal University.

Beyond the financial benefits, the two years of study in China offer students invaluable practical experience. They will gain direct exposure to the local living environment, culture, and professional work ethic. Learning entirely in Chinese will enhance their language proficiency and cultivate their adaptability and integration skills in a global context.
