Dai hoc Y Ha Noi announced on 30/4 that it plans to admit 2,150 students this year, an increase of 240 compared to last year. The university will use three admission methods: direct admission (code 301), admission based on high school graduation exam scores (code 100), and admission based on SPT competency assessment test scores from Dai hoc Su pham Ha Noi (code 402).
For the first time using SPT scores, the university will only apply this method to bachelor's programs such as nursing, midwifery, dental prosthetics technology, medical laboratory technology, rehabilitation technology, optometry, public health, psychology, and social work.
Dai hoc Y Ha Noi considers six subject combinations: A00 (mathematics, physics, chemistry), A01 (mathematics, physics, English), B00 (mathematics, chemistry, biology), D07 (mathematics, chemistry, English), D01 (mathematics, literature, English), and D10 (mathematics, geography, English). The two most competitive programs, general medicine and dentistry, will only accept applications using the B00 combination.
The university adds bonus points for three groups: applicants with national-level excellent student awards or science and technology awards, and those with international certificates such as IELTS 5.5 or equivalent, or SAT 1100/1600 or higher. The maximum bonus points awarded is 3, applicable only to admission methods based on exam scores.
For direct admission, the university reserves 40% of the enrollment target for each program. If the number of directly admitted applicants is insufficient, the university will reallocate the remaining slots to other admission methods.
The enrollment targets, admission methods, and subject combinations for each program at Dai hoc Y Ha Noi in 2026 are as follows:
