The Department of Education and Training announced the 10th grade public exam scores in Ho Chi Minh City at 9h on 19/6. However, candidates and parents were unable to access either of the Department’s two official channels.
Around 9h45, a small number of parents reported being able to look up scores after multiple attempts.

Previously, the Department stated that to view scores, candidates should visit diemthi.hcm.edu.vn and enter their candidate number. The standard admission score is the total of the three subjects: Vietnamese Literature, Math, English, plus any priority points. Candidates must take all three exams, not violate regulations, and not receive a zero score in any subject.

Candidates' preferences are considered in order. Based on each school's quota, the Department admits students from the highest scores downwards until the required number is met, ensuring that the benchmark score for a subsequent preference is not lower than the preceding one.
The specialized admission score is the total of the three general exam subjects (coefficient one), plus the specialized exam score (coefficient two). All exam scores must be 2 points or higher.
The 10th grade exam in Ho Chi Minh City concluded on 2/6. The exam questions were less difficult compared to the Ho Chi Minh City area before its merger, leading many teachers and principals to predict an increase in benchmark scores of 0,25 to 2 points.
