Compared to last year, VNUHCM assessed that the 2026 score distribution showed a slight shift towards higher scores, ensuring effective differentiation. This indicates that candidates have adapted better to the new exam structure.
The indices for question difficulty and discrimination were good, with most questions falling within the average difficulty range and over half demonstrating very good discrimination.
The first phase competency assessment by VNUHCM was held on the morning of 5/4, across 15 provinces and cities, attracting nearly 133,500 candidates. Currently, 118 universities and colleges use these exam results for admissions.
