The couple announced on Instagram on 21/8, "This summer, we welcomed a beautiful baby girl into our family through adoption. We are overjoyed to begin this exciting new chapter as parents, in peace and privacy. Our family of three is complete."

Brown and Bongiovi married in 5/2024 after three years of dating. Brown has often expressed her desire to become a mother in interviews. On the Smartless podcast in March, the actress shared her wish to have a large family with her husband.

Both Brown and Bongiovi have three siblings, and they envision a future with many children. Brown believes there is no difference between having biological children and adopting. "Of course, I want to focus on establishing myself as an actress and producer. But personally, I also find starting a family very important," she added.

Also in March, on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Brown revealed she told Bongiovi she wants to shave her head when they have their first child. She sported a shaved head while playing Eleven in Stranger Things and enjoyed the experience. The actress plans to do it again before giving birth.

Brown explained to the host, "I think it's liberating. I did it as a young girl, and now I want to experience it again as a grown woman."

Born in 2004, Brown rose to fame with the series Stranger Things, which she began filming at age 12. The role earned her two Primetime Emmy Awards and a Screen Actors Guild Award. She has since starred in Hollywood blockbusters like Godzilla vs. Kong and Enola Homes. More recently, she appeared in The Electric State alongside Chris Patt, but the film was not well-received. In 2018, Brown was included in Time magazine's list of the 100 most influential people in the world and was appointed a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).

Bongiovi, born in 2002, is the third son of rock singer Jon Bon Jovi and his wife, Dorothea Hurley. He is a former university student in New York. Unlike his father, Bongiovi is not interested in music. On his social media, he expressed his aspirations to become a model or actor.
