The "Free Health Check-up and Medication Distribution Program for People in Difficult Circumstances," organized by the Quang Ngai Provincial Youth Union Committee in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Health Sciences Association, Hoa Lam Group, Gia An 115 Hospital, and City International Hospital, took place on 19/9.
During Mr. Dung's blood pressure check, program doctors recorded a reading of 180/100 mmHg. Physicians from Gia An 115 Hospital and City International Hospital noted that the patient had experienced intermittent chest pain for about three days. At the time of examination, he presented with chest pain and sweating. An electrocardiogram revealed ST elevation, indicating a risk of acute myocardial infarction.

Immediately, Master of Science, Doctor Tran Quoc Thanh, Executive Director of Gia An 115 Hospital and City International Hospital, personally directed his team to urgently transport Mr. Dung to Quang Ngai Provincial General Hospital for emergency care. Throughout the transfer, Doctor Thanh maintained constant communication with the doctors and closely monitored the patient's condition, ensuring a swift handover and admission.

At the hospital in Quang Ngai, Mr. Dung's coronary DSA (digital subtraction angiography) results showed 95-99% narrowing in the left anterior descending artery branch and 95-99% narrowing in the right coronary artery. The team promptly performed stent placement in the left anterior descending artery, successfully intervening on the right coronary artery lesion in stage two. On 25/9, doctors at Quang Ngai Provincial General Hospital performed a second coronary intervention, placing another stent in the right coronary artery to address the severe stenosis previously identified.
Following the interventions, the patient's clinical condition improved significantly. He was stable, able to move and walk well, with no abnormal symptoms. He was discharged on 29/9.
