Ca Mau provincial police announced on 9/5 that 11 individuals have been summoned for questioning regarding the attack. Initially, four people have been identified as directly involved in assaulting the victim at a cafe in Hamlet 5, Tan Loc commune.

Investigations indicate the incident stemmed from a dispute between a 16-year-old from Tan Loc commune and the 17-year-old victim, who was originally from Thoi Binh commune.

Before the crime, one person called the group of youths to inform them of the victim's presence at the cafe. Subsequently, many gathered to discuss their plan, with one person purchasing knives in preparation for the attack.

Around 5:35 p.m. on 8/5, the group arrived at the cafe, stormed in, and attacked four individuals sitting inside, stabbing and slashing them. One teenager died, while the three others managed to flee.

By the time authorities arrived at the scene, the victim had already died amidst numerous bloodstains.

The investigating agency is currently clarifying the role of each individual and strengthening the case file for legal processing.
