PECC3 was established in 1979, originally as the Power Design Department under the Southern Power Company. The company operates in Vietnam and countries like Laos and Cambodia, primarily focusing on power development planning, power plant projects, and supervising electrical installation for industrial works.
The company was equitized in 2007 and listed on the stock exchange two years later. Today, TV3 closed at 16,100 VND per share.
Previously, a series of leaders from power companies such as TV1, TV2, and PC1 were prosecuted. These violations are linked to a criminal case involving the National Power Transmission Corporation, PC1 Group, and related entities.
PC1 Group also announced that Chairman of the Board of Directors Trinh Van Tuan, along with six other management personnel, were prosecuted by the Investigation Police Agency of the Ministry of Public Security on charges of "embezzlement of assets" and "violating accounting regulations causing serious consequences." After four individuals were detained, PC1's Board of Directors was left with only one member.
At Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 2 (stock code TV2), Nguyen Chon Hung, chairman of the board of directors, was prosecuted. Nguyen Huu Chinh, chairman of the board of directors of Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 1, was also arrested to clarify violations.
