On 7/8, Thuan Giao Ward Police were investigating allegations of child abuse against Ms. Tam, a daycare worker at La Xanh Kindergarten in Hoa Lan 2 neighborhood, formerly Binh Duong province.

The previous evening, a video circulated on social media showing a woman repeatedly hitting and flicking rubber bands at the feet and bodies of two 2-year-old children.
After approximately one hour of investigation, police identified the incident's location as La Xanh Kindergarten and summoned those involved to the station.
Authorities identified the woman in the video as Ms. Tam. During questioning, the daycare worker admitted to hitting the two children as depicted in the footage.
The 29-year-old individual who filmed and uploaded the video was also brought in for questioning. This person submitted all original video footage to aid the investigation.

Ho Chi Minh City Police urged all preschools, childcare groups, and individual caregivers to comply with regulations, ensuring a safe, respectful, and protective environment for children. Acts of harm or abuse against children will be prosecuted.
