On 8/10, Dong Nai Police temporarily detained Tuan for intentional infliction of injury and disturbing public order.

According to the investigation, in mid-2025, Tuan borrowed about 20 million VND from Tran Khac Nguyen, who resides in Trang Bom ward. Due to late repayment, conflicts frequently arose between the two. Subsequently, Tuan purchased a rubber bullet gun and five bullets for 5 million VND online, which he then carried.

On the morning of 29/8/2025, while riding a motorcycle on Quang Tien 18 street, Tuan noticed Nguyen following him on a motorcycle. Tuan drew his gun, turned, and fired three shots at the creditor, injuring the victim in the left chest and right bicep, resulting in a 4% body injury rate.

In March this year, Nguyen filed a request to initiate criminal proceedings. After several months of searching, Trang Bom Ward Police located Tuan and handed him over to Dong Nai City Police for further action.
