According to the investigation, on 3/2, Tuan broke into the pig farm of Tran Trong Phuoc, 38, who resides in the same village. The farm was secured by B40 steel mesh, which Tuan cut to gain entry.
Tuan stole 6 pigs: 5 weighing approximately 10 to 12 kilograms each, and 1 weighing about 30 kilograms. The total value of the stolen property is estimated at 12 million dong. Tuan kept the pigs at his home and had not yet sold them.
After discovering his pigs were missing, Phuoc reported the incident to the police. On the morning of 5/2, as police actively investigated and implemented professional measures to identify the culprit, Tuan realized his crime had been exposed. He then proceeded to the Vinh Hoang Commune Police headquarters to surrender and confess.
The police returned the pigs to the victim.
