Man fatally stabbed after refusing to give money

Tran Thieu Hoai Bao admitted to blocking a man in Nha Trang to ask for money, then fatally stabbing the victim when refused.

On 6/3, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police temporarily detained Bao and Nguyen Uy Vu, residents of Nha Trang ward, for investigation into murder.

Early yesterday morning, residents walking on the sidewalk of Luong Dinh Cua street, Tay Nha Trang ward, discovered a deceased man with a deep neck wound and reported it to authorities. During the investigation, police arrested Bao and Vu.

Bao confessed that he and Vu rode a motorbike along Luong Dinh Cua street, saw the victim walking on the sidewalk, and approached him to ask for money. When refused, Bao used a knife he was carrying to stab the victim's neck, causing him to collapse, then fled with Vu.
