Nguyen Kieu Nhi, a dental and maxillofacial specialist, faces charges of property fraud. On 29/4, the People's Procuracy Region 1 of Dak Lak Province approved the decision to prosecute Nhi.

Nhi was granted a practice license on 3/7/2024, working as a technical professional specializing in dental and maxillofacial care at a clinic in Vo Cuong ward, Bac Ninh province.

Authorities allege that between January and March 2025, Nhi knowingly violated regulations prohibiting a technical professional from being named at multiple medical clinics simultaneously. She reportedly provided false information, claiming she was not registered at any other facility.

Trusting her false claims, representatives of several companies in Dak Lak and other provinces signed contracts and transferred funds for Nhi to be listed as their technical professional. However, Nhi failed to uphold these commitments, instead appropriating a total of 205 million VND.

Authorities are continuing to expand the investigation into the matter.
